Hi, you can set up your Auto Attendance Submission with Geofencing in Clappia using the GPS Location Block and additional fields for the attendance.

Here's how you can set up geofencing:

Click on your app and go to Design App to create your app if you haven't already - name the app, and add a section.

Enable Geofencing in the GPS Location Block:
- Click on add field and add a GPS Location Block to your app. On the right panel, configure the block.
- Go to the 'Advanced' tab in the right panel. Enable 'Default to current location' to automatically capture user location.
- Disable Allow user to manually change location to prevent users from altering their GPS coordinates.
- Enable Geofencing to restrict submissions to a specific location. You'll get some additional options to fill in once you enable this.
- In Designated Locations, enter the location where the submission has to be made in \"Latitude,Longitude\" format (Example: 12.914946130207966, 77.632580690231). You can get these coordinates by going to Google maps, search for the location and clicking on that area. Copy and paste it in Clappia.
- Set the Radius (in meters) to define the allowed boundary for attendance submissions. Let's say you set it to 100, then a user will only be able to submit if they are within a 100m from the location you set.
Set Up Attendance Tracking Fields:
This is dependent on your requirement but you can check the below fields that you could add to your app.
- To capture the user's name:
  Add a 'Calculation & logic' block and in the right panel under 'formula' type in @currentusername or for email capture type in @currentuseremail . The block will automatically show their detail in App Home. This only works if they are signed in to Clappia.
  You could also instead create a separate app to maintain user details, then in the attendance app, use the 'Get Data from Other Apps' block to pull the user details required.
  If you have any QR/bar codes, you could also try using the code scanner block to scan or pull information.
- Add a Date and Time block
- To select attendance for the day:
  If you need options like 'Clock-in and Clock-out' then you can use a 'Single Selector' block.
- To check if they logged in for the day (prevent duplicates):
  Use a 'Validation' block to check whether a user has already given attendance for the day so that they do not do it twice.
  On the right panel, select 'Type of validation' as Duplicates, 'Select Fields': date, user info field (whichever you have chosen from the above). 'Validation level' as Error and give a Validation Message.
